“These Days” - February 23

Step into the raw and poignant world of ‘These Days,’ a soul-stirring ballad capturing profound emotions & advocacy for the many struggles of mental health. Heart-drenched storytelling and emotive vocals, this vulnerable build is a powerful testament to the human spirit.

First single from upcoming album I Love You, Keep Going (May ’24), this cathartic collection of songs we’re written during a transformative period while in residential treatment at Integrative Life Center (a trauma recovery center in Nashville). Sonically inspired by sensitive sirens like Milck, Mitski and Madi Diaz; produced by Dave Coleman.

V1
My heart feels a little heavy these days
Feel like I’m falling, will I ever feel ok
Screaming for attention, that inner child lost and afraid
My heart feels a little heavy these days

Chorus
And so, we go - and push on through the pain
Through rain, through snow
Be selfish with, be selfish with your love

V2
My heart feels a little heavy these days
Feel like I’m swallowed up, by the anger every day
Screaming for attention, that inner child lost and afraid
My heart feels a little heavy these days

Chorus
And so, we go - and push on through the pain
Through rain, through snow
Be selfish with your heart and soul
And so, we go - and push on through the shame
Through grief, we grow
Be selfish with, be selfish with your love

Bridge
I am screaming inside, why the hell am I alive
There are not enough pills for the pain
I am drowning inside, why the hell am I alive
There is not enough liquor to numb these veins
I’m bleeding, I’m bleeding, I’m pleading
Someone please come and take my hand

Chorus
And so, we go - and push on through the pain
Through rain, through snow
Be selfish with your heart and soul
And so, we go - and push on through the flames
Our wings unfold
Be selfish with, be selfish with your love (x3)
